Role Overview

We are seeking a Senior Odoo Developer to join our technical team.
The ideal candidate will take ownership of complex Odoo customizations, integrations, and performance-critical features, working closely with consultants, project managers, and clients.

This role requires strong backend expertise, a solid understanding of Odoo ORM and business flows, and the ability to design clean, scalable solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Odoo Development & Customization

• Design, develop, and maintain custom Odoo modules (Community & Enterprise)
• Customize core modules such as:
  • Sales, Purchase, Inventory
  • Accounting
  • Manufacturing (MRP)
  • HR
  • Fleet, Helpdesk, CRM (as needed)
• Extend models, views, workflows, reports, and server actions
• Apply Odoo best practices (ORM, security rules, performance optimization)

Integrations

• Build and maintain API integrations (REST / SOAP)
• Integrate Odoo with third-party systems 
  
• Handle authentication, error handling, logging, and retries

Technical Skills 

• Participate in technical design and solution architecture
• Estimate development efforts and support project planning
• Troubleshoot complex issues in production environments

Deployment & Maintenance

• Support Odoo.sh and on-premise deployments
• Handle module upgrades and database migrations
• Optimize performance and fix data integrity issues
• Work with Git (branching, merging, code reviews)

Required Qualifications

Must Have

• 5+ years of professional Odoo development experience
• Strong expertise in:
  • Python
  • Odoo ORM & framework
  • PostgreSQL
• Excellent knowledge of:
  • XML views (form, tree, kanban, calendar, pivot, graph)
  • JS Work
  • Security (ACLs, record rules, groups)
• Experience with Odoo versions 17+ (17/18/19 is a strong plus)
• Solid understanding of business processes (Accounting, Inventory, MRP)
• Experience working with Git (GitHub / GitLab)

Nice to Have

• Experience with Odoo Enterprise
• JavaScript / OWL framework experience
• Odoo.sh experience
• DevOps knowledge (Linux, Nginx, backups, performance tuning)
• Experience with large databases and high-user systems
• Previous experience in an Odoo Partner company
